This background, the "Egg Nebula" taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, will be included in 1.2 (I hope) in a few weeks. Custom backgrounds as a feature is being delayed to 1.2.1 or 1.3 as there is so much other new stuff in 1.2 that just needs to get out there ASAP.
Another background that might make the cut is "Dark Water" (by yours truly), which appeared behind "Duo Cube" and "Tri Cube" earlier. I'm not totally happy with that one, though, so we'll see.
